Experience in the fitness industry isn’t required, though passive owners must employ a gym manager who is approved by Fit Results and has attended all required training. Franchisees should have business management experience and excel at customer service. Most importantly, Fit Results owners should be fiercely passionate about helping all people through their fitness journey. 

We are also a concept that believes in second chances. For that reason, we welcome financially qualified returning citizens who were formerly incarcerated or have prior justice system involvement. After completing our virtual training program, we will welcome you and your manager to Chicago for in-person training and a chance to immerse yourself in the Fit Results experience! We also offer initial training including guidance with set up and design of your gym. You will have full access to our video training library that is consistently updated with workouts, business training and more. Of course, we are always available via phone and email when you need us. Franchise owners also have exclusive access to our confidential operations manual, from the moment they are selected to open a fitness training franchise with Fit Results, so they can operate their business each day with confidence.

The total estimated initial investment to begin operations of a single Fit Results location ranges from $224,980 to $364,039, which includes a $47,500 initial franchise fee. There is a significant incentive given to veterans, as well as returning citizens who were formerly incarcerated or have prior justice system involvement. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.

We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer to financing sources on a case-by-case basis.

We collect a royalty fee equal to 6% of gross sales, and a technology fee of $100 per month. Fees such as these allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of programs, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades. For a full list of fees and requirements, please refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

Franchise owners will be required to spend a minimum of 2% of gross sales or $1,500 per month (currently $750/month), whichever is greater, on local marketing.  They will also contribute up to 2% of gross revenues into the brand marketing fund (currently this is set at 1.5%). Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Fit Results brand and cover the creative costs to develop branded marketing materials and campaigns.

The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with two subsequent successor agreement options of five years each.
